For those who can't get to New Orleans, AidsCare's signature Carnival event is the place to be for Mardi Gras! Fat Friday Ball - Masks! Mayhem! Mardi Gras! is scheduled for March 3, 2000 at the Palmer House Hilton, Chicago. Over 450 guests are expected to attend what Chicago Social has called a "shining example of creativity and heart." Complete with its purple, green and gold decorations, beads, ornate costumes and traditional King's cake, this event promises to rival the festivities of Bourbon Street! Tickets are $200 per person. Over one hundred restaurants throughout the city and suburbs are expected to participate in DOL. These restaurants have generously made a contribution that will benefit 5 AIDS organizations, including aidsCare. In turn, we need your help to "fill" the restaurants. All you have to do is choose a restaurant from the DOL list and get as many people you know to dine there on May 11. It's that simple! Be sure to mention that you are dining there for DOL when making reservations!
